You're not wrong, I had a piece made in the dull carbon too and when you hold it next to the LAW-3 chassis on my yellow ZX-R you can't tell it apart.
I'm thinking I will get the shock towers at least made by fibrelyte for the ZX-R so its all matching carbon

I'm also thinking about building a second TOMS with the FRP pieces made out of this dull carbon too, kind of a TOMS-EVO lol

Ok guys its here. The rear gearbox tensioner.

£15.50 for the UK and £16.50 for the rest of the world. I have made a manual that is very easy to follow so let me know via PM if you want one.

Picture is of the item fixed to the carbon fibre plate in the order of the way the items fit together so you get an idea.

Looks very nice james. I Got a chance to get on a miller in my lunch time today to make my tensioner ready for the weekend.

I'd like to fit a rear sway bar to my ZX-S
So far I have the rear bar itself in orange and green (which one am I meant to use?) but I need the brackets that mount the bar to the rear shock tower
Does anyone have any?
Iso ??

LA-124. rcq.se have them. Need to do an IBAN payment tho, which your bank may charge you for.

Hi Oli, I don't have a photo of the fibrelyte piece next to the Lazer chassis but this is what the Lazer chassis looks like
I am assuming the chassis is an LAW-3 but the upper deck is for a MKII the chassis has had two extra holes drilled to suit

What Oli said!
My contact there is a Katarina Ponten.
But as I say, I would get a large order together so it makes the IBAN transfer fee worthwhile.
p.s. They still have the Hyper Clutch!

Guys I got confused, didn't realise that was a website I thought you were saying you had them yourself
Oli thanks for looking into the website for me, I also discovered I need some OT-88 for my planned mid builds.
I have so many projects planned but so hard to figure out how to approach each build, thats half the fun I guess

Iso,

Scroll down and youll see my post with pictures. This is my proto version so isnt up to the standard that I am selling but you should get an idea on what I have done. The manual is more in depth and pictures and description of what to do are a lot clearer.

Default la 20?

Welshy40, ive noticed you have been trying to find some la20 hinge pins. If its the inner ones you are needing, give some 3mm silver steel a try from your local engineering supplys. Its good stuff and precision ground to size and about £3 for 300mm. Ive just got some to make a new layshaft on the lathe to fit a modern slipper system.

Ive already designed the modern slipper system with my buddy Alcyon. Got a VTS on mine but it needs to be hardend steel if your sing a one way otherwise you ruin your one way and wear out the shaft.

OK will find someone who can do this, great idea and means I can get a few for a small amount.

Ok race report for Sunday

Saturday I tried loads of set up changes and also weight distribution set ups and found one that made the car much more balanced. I also had a bit of bad luck and got taken out and ruined my rear shock shaft so opted to fit associated B4 shocks with dremelled out pistons to as close as possible dimensions as traxxas seeing as I like TRX1 shocks a lot. I opted to use schumacher white rear springs and schumacher grey on the front with 40 in the rear 3 hole pistons and 60 wt oil in the front 2 holes. Rear hubs were in the middle hole n the wishbone and had the shocks set in the middle on the wishbone. No roll bar. It was pretty good, had a little niggle with the back end being very loose but stayed with it as I was tired.

I had esc problems for most of the day so didnt get to finish two of my best races but decided to go up to 45 in the rear for the final and geared down as well. My pace was B final in the C but I got the lead on the second lap and pulled a half lap lead within two laps and went well until the front uj came out of my gear diff. Ok after investigation my CF front gearbox came loose and that gave slop to the diff and that was that but the car was putting in times that showed a vast improvement. Consistency was much better . I did find also that ceramics do not work in the ball diffs as all you get is major slip, so had to use gear diffs and that cost me but its a big test season and its coming along, now awaiting tungsten carbide diff balls and will see if that works. Will put an original gear box on the front to give me less agro on the day and also need to change my esc and motor, plus ratio. I intend to do much better in December.
