Personal transponders
many of us are using MRT and older mylaps PTX that apparently won't work with the RC4 AMB system. Will the clubs hosting regional meetings please let us know how we stand with their lap counting systems.

SOUTHPORT
We intend to run the RC3 for at least this season. The only thing that may change this approach is if we have a failure and then we would move to the RC4. So all transponders will work bar the Purcy. Meanwhile the club handouts have been upgraded to AMB Harry and quite a few members who have MRT's are moving over to the Harry so they don't get caught out at a club with an RC4.

Bury
Running RC3 and have no intention of changing barring failure. Even then we will do everything we can to stick with RC3 as many members are using MRT's. All PT's except Purcy's work. We also have 20 handouts which are giving good signals and decent battery life for the time being as well.

Please Note that PT’s are mandatory at all BRCA sanctioned meetings. It is not the club’s responsibility to supply transponders.
