Best new 2.4ghz set for under £80?
Looking at a cheap radio setup for the kids, ideally brand new, been having trouble with Etronix stuff on their cars so prefer another make ideally - recommendations?

For really cheap, you can't go wrong with a Flysky GT2B for bargain basement no frills.
Only has D/R for steering mind, no separate endpoints or subtrim. It does come with a rechargeable TX pack though if you pick the right auction. Range is good, never had a glitch with them and response is good too, if not race levels - although saying that my lad uses his for racing! TX and RX set are around £20 on ebay - last one I bought I managed to get for £16 brand new. |

If you do go for one of them note the end letter 'B' - this is the one with the rechargeable pack. There's an 'E' which takes AA cells.
For a bit more (£35) you can get a GT3C which has loads more bells and whistles - digital display, multi model memory, independent EPAs, ABS, EXP - only thing I recall it doesn't have is subtrim. |
