Right ok that is fine point taken.
Ive not had alot of experience running meetings so your points are duely noted. So sunday i will put eletrics as the 1st heat on and the first final to go on.

Sorry if anyone had been put off by this.
You can always come to see me with any ways of improving the club.
So points taken on board.

Also we plan to finish around 4pm. So probably 3pm for leccy boys

Guys i will support Nathan and what he has said.

I for one will admit it never crossed my mind the fact that the electrics racers were made to hang around till the end of the meeting.
Now it has been mentioned by Russ to be honest it is quite ridiculous to have to wait that long just for a five minute final.

I apologise to all the electric racers for not thinking about this scheduling problem and suggesting it be changed.

Now that it has been and so obviously wrong IT WILL CHANGE.

As Nathan has said the finals can be easily be rearranged so that the electric finals can run first.
The race length can also be discussed between the drivers as to how long their batteries will last regarding longer finals.

This of course also means that potentially the finals the elcetric drivers marshall will be the shorter of the fianls rather than the A finals which are generally a bit longer.

We are open to ideas and also criticism to allow the club to grow and improve so that all drivers who visit and hopefully race will all go away having enjoyed the days racing.

Russ I thank you for your comment and really do appreciate what you have said.
If you have any other issues that you feel need to be aired please pm me so we the club can work to resolve them.

I do hope it's NOT the last time we see you at Ledbury and i'm sorry to hear Jasoncb will not be coming to try the track out.
Nathan, Oliver and myself made the 2 hour trek to race on the astro 1/10 scale track at coventry the last weekend gone with our 1/8 scale for the racecentral round 2.
24 second laps and 10 minute finals due to the rostrum capacity and very difficult overtaking.
It was a bit tight but we still went even thou we were aware of the issue prior to going.
And to be fare we would go again as it was good fun.

Jasoncb i hope you reconsider.

We are trying.

Jamie.

Thank you for taking the comment on the chin and immediately stepping up and apologising and promising to rectify it.

We don't have to run 1st, just not last... As said, ours are only 5 mins long, whereas we marshalled a 20 min final and then all the others were 20 as well (i think, maybe some lower were 15 Mins).

Also a point by Jamie... I said a few times last time on the rostrum to all about running for longer. I think personally it's about time Electric did 6 Mins minimum. Maybe even 7 minutes to be honest. I only run a 4000mah in 2wd, but know i can go for 7 mins no probs. I reckon i could go 10 withough any trouble as well...

What you reckon... 10 Minute Final

Maybe Ledbury could Lead the Way !!!!

Russ.
If you want to run 10 minutes and everyone who turns up to race can make 10 minutes--- THEN 10 MINUTES YOU WILL GET.

But we have to make sure everyone who is racing can agree on the time.
Otherwise longer finals may then cause us problems.

It's up to you guys to decide and tell us at ledbury what you all agree.

We all want as much run time as possible regardless of what we race.
If we can agree then lets go for it.

Fast Eddie.
Yes mate it is outdoor astro.
When the days draw out we intend to hold electric meeting on a Wednesday night if you are interested.
It may be worth while sorting out some kind of Wednesday calender for people to put their names on so people like yourself don't come a long way to find only one other elctric driver has turned up.
We also do spec, check and test days every Saturday from noon onwards so anyone who wants to come and practice can.
We also offer a timing loop during the day s so you can see if your spec changes have improved you times.

I hope this helps and look forward to possibly seeing you in the future.

Jamie.

Jamie,

Thanks for coming back to me, would you have a hand out transponder or would i need to get one?
Bit of a treck for evenings but a days racing is worth it. As regards the 10 mins, I am on nimh so may not make it but if there is only 2 then I will be runner up!!!

Hope to see you soon

Eddie

Hi Eddie.
We have hand outs so thats not a problem.

As far as 10 minutes goes, it'll be up to the electric racers to decide what time everyone can manage for a final.

What configuration of batteries do you use in your car.
Could you use a stick lipo or saddle.
We may be able to sort some out for you if you decide to come and play.

Jamie.

Jamie,
I use stick but dont think the lipo would fit as I have side by side cells. That aside, I will come anyway and see if its possible to mod if someone was kind enough to try and lend me one. If all else fails I dump...............
only in it for fun and jumps....
Cheers mate
