Hi Guys

Booking in for this event will close next friday the 4th
Still need some more electric guys to keep numbers up and some
more rallycross so get booking in.

Dont forget we have a midlands regionals in 4wd and 2wd this year
so this could be your chance to get, some practice in prior to the event.

Points can be found at www.ledburymodelcarclub.moonfruit.com
and remember you must have 3 rounds in to qualify for the finals day on 6th March, which will have prizes for end of season.

If you havent done 3 rounds dont worry as finals day will also consist of guest finals for those not in the championship

Does that mean the regionals will be on the new big track this year?

Yes, might be interested in coming down, so long as the regional is held on the same track?? If not get in on the same track, and you might get a few more peeps

Can I do the finals in March, if I haven't done any of the other rounds?

Cheers
Mark

Nath...

As discussed last week please can you book us in for the LAST round on 6th March

Lee Panchbhaya - 4WD
Callum Panchbhaya - 4WD (Junior U13)
Ben Greening - 4WD
Rich Griffiths - 4WD

Ill have a word with Rich Davis too, see if I can get him along for some pre-season racing

Can you let us know the decision on which track we are likely to run on for both Regional's, I would say use the big track for 4wd and grass track for 2wd subject to the wether...

Oh and don't forget that you need to nominate THREE different Tyre manufacturers to Tom at least a month before the event.

Cheers

Lee

Sorry for slow reply

What i was looking at doing was running the 2wd regionals on the astro
and 4wd regionals on the grass.

Lets hear you opinions as i know quite a few people still love our grass track.

The meeting on sunday is on the astroturf track. Either way one of the regionals will be raced on the astro.

Also you can just come for finals day on 6th of march even though you havent done the series.

They would be seeded into a guest final though but im sure it will still be great.

Dont forget booking in closes friday for this sundays meeting

Cheers Nathan...can you book me in in advance to the finals meeting in March?

I will put myself down for 2wd on this one, as you mentioned that the 2wd regional will be on the astro (PPLEAASSEE!!! )
I will need to get some practice in with my 2wd prior to the regionals coming up this year LOL

Will PM you my details.

Cheers
Mark

I might well have missed this, sorry if I have, but can you please confirm;

start time
time between rounds (only worth me coming along if there will be plenty of time to play with setups .. especially drive line options)
target finish time
cost per entry

Sorry for all the questions, would really like to make it over if not working.

Jamie and Nathan,

Just a quick note and request...

Please don't do as you did at the last meeting and run the Electrics Final Last.

We were made/expected to wait 1 hour 45 minutes till we could race in our Final. This really was not good enough. Out of the 4 of us that came to race, i'm the only one that's happy to come back. But if the same happens again, i wont. Please don't upset people with silly things like that, cause the track is awesome and really easy to get to.

Sorry to be a little blunt, but it all helps to make you realise what the racer wants and therefore make a cracking club, track and overall facility.

Russ

Well i have to agree with what russ has just wrote, and that has certainly put me off making the trip down.

When coventry run there club meetings with nitro and electric mix the club always put the electric as first finals,as with the nitro extended finals it means the electric guys dont have to stand around waiting and it has also got the electric numbers back up,which i would guess its your aim at ledbury but having a near 2 hour wait for your final is not the way to go in my opinion for what its worth
