Sorry these photos are bad. My bulb has gone in my main lamp I use for lighting. I will redo these tomorrow for my main review - but here is how far I have got so far.

It really is a very interesting design - I love it already.

I can't be hanging about now can I. Most the general public still don't have their cars. I was just lucky that Marc/MK Racing was probably the first (if not one of the first) to get hold of them. So I need to beat most and get mine built quick

Only problem is I'm the worst shell painter in world so need to find someone to do a nice job on short notice. Hopefully getting it done local but if the person I contacted is busy I better start looking elsewhere.

Has any of u ran the SX on a dirt track yet. Wld be very much interesting to see if the open pulleys' layout holds up to the dirt ingress. As u guys know, not many countries have the luxury of astroturf

Cool Front Hex Axles

Can the car accept Losi-type wheels for the front, and for the back that is. The front would require a hex. It appears to have a pin. Is this true?

Otherwise, it looks awesome. I can't wait to get mine. Further to the question about running on a dirt track, perhaps Simon Moss could publish his setup from the Euros. I think that would be a good start.

Hi there,

I can see on your pics that front wheels have a roll-pin drive...different from the AE/Losi Hex. (Schumacher had written "industry standard" on their site)

Please Glypo (or anyone who already has received his SX), can you please tell us if spare hexes are provided to install Losi wheels?

Will it be proposed as an optionnal part?

Thanks a lot for your help.
Jean-Christophe

Yes, the Hexes are included! The Schumacher wheels are on a pin front & rear, but the hex is there to put Losi/B44 etc wheels on.

I think the pin is a great idea, I did say several months ago that the first company to do this would be onto a winner if their wheels fitted other cars (i.e. Losi front axle design) by just removing the hexes.

The car was tried and tested on dirt at the Euros and there is no problem on that note.

Simon Moss's Euros set up is in the instuction manual along with others, grass, astro etc

Sorry buddy, I've no plans to at the moment but I'm sure Jason (glypo.com) will do a good job of it - he's a rather technical guy and is enthusiastic about Schumacher so it should be a good read.

I know I may be pushing my luck here, but any chance of scanning a couple of pages of the manual - I'd like to see just how the slipper and the motor mount work
