Default KF2 Build tips

Hi,

I got a kf2 today and I am wondering if there is anything I need to look out for when building my kit tomorrow.

Thanks
James

It's a very good build but here's a couple of tips.

When assembling the slipper and spur gear I found the back slipper plate wouldn't sit square or flat onto the machined square on the lays haft, this caused the spur to wobble. Some light filing on the lay shaft square resolved the issue. If you find during your build the spur wobbles this may well be the cause.

When building the rear suspension I found the wishbone pivot spheres very hard to install into the suspension hangars with the hinge pins in the them, without the hinge pins in the spheres they could be installed into the hangers much easier and then the pins can be inserted without issues.

Did you have a problem with the geared diff being too big to fit into the housing ?

No, no pro sports with the diff. Is it too wide or aren't the bearings sitting down properly. Any pictures?
