Default Tamtech tyres

I would like to get a small selection of tyres for my imminent 2WD Tamtech to race indoors. I take it the SC Buggy Champ tyres are about the best? Anyone know where to buy some (and possibly any others)?

Some of the vast range of other mini tyres might fit - not sure though. The others in the TamTech range are probably best avoiding. the ribbed fronts appear to be a bit inconsistent and give the steering an odd feel - so im told.

I got my SC tyres from RC Champ in Japan, but they were in all the model shops over there when I was there in september. Not sure about the part numbers as I quickly de-bagged them. They were something like double the price of the standard champ tyres but come with foams.

I've ordered a GB01 chassis kit, Desert Gator body and a load of hopups. Not ordered the GB02 front suspension yet, will see how I get on with the GB01 front end and hop ups for a start. Also got the Tamiya aeration shocks.

Just can't seem to find the Buggy Champ SC rear tyres anywhere on the planet!

Will let ya know

My std compound buggy champ tyres arrived in the post today and they seem OK, probably a medium compound, no inserts tho so I'll get some inferno ones fitted. I'm sure they'll be good on carpet, not sure about on the slippy stuff tho

Yeah only the SC ones come with foam - I raced the std tyres and they were alright on the carpet but fairly hard work on the slippy. The SC were better all round - but still not amazing on the slippy.
