Id probably use yellow mini pin 2's on the rear with mini pin fronts.

Have been running mine on carpet with wood, mini pin 2 rear with tubby insert, cut stagger fronts. Kit setup except Pistons, 1.6/1.7 2 hole. Car is awsome, car 1 in the video.

Thanks for the replies. Do you run an insert with the pini pin fronts? And do you cut the rim?

Also I've just finished putting the shocks together and it seems the front has much more droop than the rear in standard setup, is that usual on a 2wd.

Might sound odd ...

But is anyone running the DE on high grip in 3 gear cover config?

If so how's Competitive is it

I know someone who's looking to get the xb2 but with the weather like it is... race indoors and outdoors but wants one car, would the 3 gear dirt car be a decent compromise

I actually run Schumacher slim wheels on mine but yes I would cut the Xray rim down. I wouldn't bother with minipins for the front, will make it to edgy on the carpet, just run cut stagger with no insert.
