Default Easy maintenance XB4 17 and XB2 17?

I am currently in the process of jumping ship from Durango.
The two options I am looking at at the moment is the K2 and KC vs XB417 and XB2 17.

I have no strong feelings for either, and hence I am a proper weekend warrior with all preparation for races are done the night before at 3am
I am probably most interested in the easiest package to keep at a decent race level with minimum maintenance.

Any inputs from you guys would be appreciated!

Both cars (xb2 and xb4) are very easy cars to work on, and got fantastic access to the diffs for changing oils.
Both are hard-wearing and tough, so can get away with less maintenance than most.

Any belt driven car isn't going to have as easy access to the diffs, and sand/dirt does find its way in the gearboxes eventually and puts wear on belts.

Not going to say the schumachers are bad cars, they're not, but my vote would go to the xrays (and that's what I run) out of the 2, purely due to toughness and ease of work.To top that the xb4 is the 4wd to beat imo still, the others are still catching up.

I recently made the switch from Schumacher to Xray and the Xray cars are far easier to work on and much more durable,
