That makes it even more interesting. That looks like they're try to persuade IFMAR to run all astro. In my opinion that would be a shame as I think it should remain on a natural surface.

Just my two pennath

I'd read on rctech and elsewhere that there was a proposal on the table for the astro worlds, with bloc vote results likely due in Dec.
Either way this car will be good for astro, as the best have developed it with that in mind.

Just seen on here there's a poll that you can take part in for which surface you would like the worlds continue on.

My vote went for dirt

They did not run on dirt last time, and they did not run on dirt at the nitro wc either. They ran on sugar and concrete, which looked like clay from a distance. IMHO lobbyism from PL, JC, and AKA will play a major role if 'clay' will be chosen, although it does not make any sense - unless you want to continue to sell slick/bar-type buggy tyres, that is.
As for the gearbox, I heard just yesterday that AE has something similar in the conceptual phase, whether for production or just another stealth car.

Looks like a good compromise for UK outside. Not going to deliver the corner exit steering of a front mid with the motor rotating in that direction and that far back though....

I think we just got the reason why Lee's livery is on the YZ-2 box instead of Naoto's:

Exactly my thoughts... I guess that means even better technical support for Lee Martin.

The parts list tab on the Yokomo website has been updated. If the star/dot markings are correct, the kit will come with both flat and gullwing front arms and corresponding shock towers and 25 and 30 degree aluminum front arm mounts.

That would be great but i don't think the dots are correct.

In addition it would mean it comes with 2 CF front shock towers and 2 body's (1 Light weihgt)
2 gear diffs and a maintenance kit.

Btw, the kit has been delayed to 9th of januari

Just noticed that the YZ rear arms look a lot like the Bmax4III rear arms
