Default Some rc parts I've made

Some of you may have been following my rc10 build http://www.oople.com/forums/showthread.php?t=186240 where I've made some aluminium parts , just to trying to make the rc10 stand out a bit more .

Carbon fibre battery straps and aluminium thumb screws

Aluminium body posts and spring retainers .

Modified steering set up

Team Durango , battery thumbscrews

Nice work, its small items that can make a project stand out. If you don't mind me asking, what tooling do you have to make this stuff? i'd love to get a small lathe and mill setup to tinker with, but with budget ones costing upwards of £1k each its hard to justify purely for hobby use.

It's all industrial spec machinery ,as you say it's hard to justify the cost of equipment just to make a few parts as and when you require .
