Talking BJ2SE - Competition 2wd car?

Well i had a mintC BJ4WE car just laying here...i already using a AtomicCarbonS4 for my racing, so i had nothing to do..a m8 in sweden did a similar mod to he´s B44...that was inspiring

Gonna call it BJ2SE - SpecialEdition

B4 frontend
BJ4WE rear + mid
LRP 07 esc
4-5 cells
Low wound motors..
Ko2413

This is what i did today...

Rough cut...

Now we talking..just copy of stock chassi, will be trimmed later

Mounted

BJ4WE layout

Atomized B44 layout

ESC

So finaly i have decided to use Atomic Carbon Layout...S4

More to come..will attach the slot from BJ4WE, in 2+2 later..

Front end B4 is ordred, hopfully arriving next week...

Stay tune

/Thomas

that looks good, would be interesting to see what it turns out like though! maybe you could put the 4cells across the back and then a further two next to the motor rather than next to the slipper assembly???

Looks interesting i think one of atomic carbon's first prototype s2's used the rear end of a bj4we but had a xxxcr front end instead correct me if i'm wrong, will be good to see how it turns out with a b4 fornt end and howwell it handles on different types of track grip and stylewise,

GT2 front end is a direct bolt on to flat CF and accepts all the B4 front end parts, drop me a email if you need one Thomas.

I found with the motor location you are using you get a lot of torque steer, and you must use the B44 slipper, as the BJ4WE works like a switch and you will got loads of wheel spin.

The best option i found was to spin the motor / housing around 180 deg, then turn the rear gearbox upside down, this got rid of the torque steer, and gave even better weight distribution.

damn..my CF wont be enough for a chassi...wit wont be more width then the motormount, maybe some more..not sure to fit in some cells on the opposite side...

Maybe this one will be Version 1, ordering some more CF, and then do a Version 2

looks great, personally think it would be better with 3 cells on the non-motor side and 2 on motor side for good weight balance and a little more power, i don't think 4 cell would be very good, like you have in one of your earlier pics
