Balance charging?
Hi guys I received my Balance cable in the post this week so that I could start balance charging my lipo's. however I plugged it all in set the amps (4.8) set the voltage (7.4 2s) and stated the charge. It did a battery check and everything was fine and so it started, however instead of balancing at 4.8 amps as i said, it started balancing at 0.1 amps? Is this correct. As its charging at this low power its going to take all day to charge and that seems a bit excessive
 Any help please. Thanks chris

Depends how much charge is already in the batteries. If they are already fairly full, then it will charge at a lower rate, to balance them correctly. If they are empty or nearly empty, then they will charge at a higher rate, then slow down as the battery fills.

Ok thanks , that must be the reason as i think that they must have been near full charge. Thanks for the help
