Great photos, i like having car and people pics, it shouldn't be just about the racing, most of us do it for the interaction just as much.

I am not saying I don't like the people pics, I just have to remember that some snaps may be taken, there is a spoon next to my head in one of them, never even knew that was going on....

Dunno what is going on with the spoon thing.... must be a 'got to be in on it' thing.

Prefer the car pics though....

The spoon thing was funny, but I was there at Southport when it started. Now there is a plug

There are still lots of excellent shots of cars which is what I keep coming to this site and northernracer to look at. I am also really glad old photos are kept accessable too as I do look back at these from time to time.

Keep up the good work.

I believe Dan/Jimmy will be taking G's spoon to the Euros to annoy the Germans with.
The spoon will be given a rest up untill then as the 'joke' will wear too thin if it goes on too much.
We really need to some up with some other sort of random crazyness for Oswesty.

I love the spoon.. it will have to travel with glyn or dan tho, they might catch me trying to board the plane with a racing spoon and arrest me

Unfortunatly the spoon had a minor "off" at Batley

But don't worry, I have been talking to some clever engineers today and we are planning on rebuilding the legend to a new bigger and better standard.

I will post pictures of the process for all to see.

Due to the technical superiority of Jimmy's 1D, L series lens & image processing ability I need the spoon distract the eye from the rest of the images.

I'm not dissin' my own pics, considering I'm not using a pro' body & lens and the images are as they come off the camera I think they are pretty rasonable, but, I can't hope to get the sharp, high shutter speed, close-up from distance shots that Jimmy can get with the beast!

Come see me next time were racing stu.. we will sort your cam out and you will eat those words! I guarentee you we can set your camera up to get photos that really pop out..
Honestly, a Pro body wont make better images.

I like my camera to produce images that I can use without any / much messing about. Especially the colours. and I reckon your 350 is MORE capable of producing nice colours than the 1D is, but we shall see mate.

I spent a lot of time on my Nikon, and even longer on the Canon to get images I like out of it.

The reason I've been bleeting on about an F4 L for a bit is that when your lens was on my body at Batley indoors in March the pics looked more like yours than mine.
The best images I take are with the 50mm, but, you can't get close in on the action with it.

I'll bring the laptop to Oswestry. I'll take a few shots as reference, then we'll have a play around with it then I'll take some more, we'll see what we can do.

It would appear Mr W has the biggest & Greenest bogies.

Yeah, seen, I'm not sure that the Southern types really get it.
