Default Vintage ESC - What is it?

Can anyone reliably identify this vintage ESC?
I did buy it new myself but not sure after 25 years if its a Laser, Nosram or whatever?
It fits under the top deck on my ProCAT so its not too huge for its age and it has two adjustment potentiometers and a L shaped alloy heatsink under the clear shrink wrap.
And a long shot probably but does anyone have instructions / manual for it? (if such a thing ever existed!)
Thanks.

I could be wrong here so dont take my word for it but it looks like a Bob tek esc, a chap from Wales made them.

Thanks for the reply Welshy40.
Bob Tek doesn't ring any bells for me, but it has been a long time so you might be right!

Anybody else have any other thoughts?

I must admit, Laser is the name that seems strongest in my memory.
Could it be a Laser Comfet?

Laser Comfet Mini-Pro circa 1989. Mine is now in the Tamiya Mini belonging to the kid across the street - nearly 25 years old and still being used!

Maybe you could contact Glyn Peglar trough the forum, I have seen him here sometimes. He was making the Laser ESC.

Laser rings a bell as well. Bob tek and the laser were out at the same time, both were pretty good at that time.

Shouldn't need a manual for setting up. One pot is for neutral, the other is for full throttle.

With the pinion off the motor or the wheels off the ground, turn the radio on. Turn one pot and see what happens, if the motor runs forwards, stops then runs backwards or vice versa you have found the neutral pot so set it so the motor stops in neutral. If this doesn't happen you have the high end pot so adjust the other one.
Then hold full throttle and adjust the other pot so the motor just reaches top speed, you will be able to tell because you can clearly hear the motor slow down and speed up as you adjust it.

Default Laser Comfet Mini Pro

Looks like Si Coe was spot on!
Thought it sounded right and with a bit more digging around amongst my old stuff I found this...

This laser has reverse, the OP's is forward only. The relay is the clue ;-)
