NIB RC10 Worlds Car (before the rere was released) bought for 120 Euros, sold for £850.

Partially complete boxed RC10 Worlds Car (before rere), bought for 100 Euros, sold body for £70, chassis for £80 and wheels for £50. Kept the other bits to restore my shelf worlds car

Ahhh - back in the day when a Worlds car was a real jewel in any RC10 fan's collection - now their 'special-ness' seems to have been diluted by the Re-issue?

Back in 2009/2010 I picked up this rather sorry looking Worlds off ebay for £23!

Which after a few new parts & plenty of elbow grease, looked like this;

I never understand why the rerelease of a car dilutes the value of an original period car? I would rather have a real Dali on the wall than a print. Maybe I am the only one who would rather have an original. Nice car, I sold my RC10 project to fund others..

Last year I picked up this lot for a very very very good price it may not look like much to some but I could get at least 6 times what I paid for it all for just one of those chassis

The way prices are going I'd want more than what I paid for it all for that nip Protech body alone

Unfortunately it does, that's the reality I'm afraid. Look at the selling prices/trend of original NIB Optima's now.

Let's stick to Tomy's.....very very very unlikely to be rereleased! Very!

That's not the first time I've heard that I think they pop up on there a lot that's why I've never had anything off there.

Good work Dave, I've recently acquired a Cat EC, but I want to get all the option parts for it. Wish I had my own Cat and Bosscat, sadly long gone.

Haven't bought anything for a while but last couple of buys have been pretty decent scores.

Not much over £100 for a XXX4 and loads of spares.

About £150-170 for a NIB sealed MR4 BX (Can't remember if it's worlds or factory)

Both from JAUCE.
