Looking good! Suggestion... Can you swap steering arms around, that way you could flip servo and have the wire coming out of it on the other side. Looks like it can be done.

Why would you want too ? other than changing the position of the servo would it give any other setup option's ?

Sorry I don't want to derail this thread - I did do graphic designery type things. I charge about what everyone else charges for a shell, between £20 and £40 depending on number of colours and complexity of design. I've got a few in at the moment for RC Lazy.com so watch my thread - the imaginatively titled paint-by-ian over the next few weeks to see what I've been up to

So the servo wire could come out on the side your receiver will sit. Not having to run the wire across behind the servo then. It's only a thought

Gainsy you forgot your rear bumper

Personally I was working from the manual rather than the revisited online manual and thought that's a bit weird having countersunk screws there

------

here's mine.
I'm not a fan of the gold/yellow washers so planned ahead with the red hehe. didn't' realise I'd need so many to do the wheelbase adjustment though!

iphone photos look terrible. rushed this morning before work. I only finished the car at 2.30 this morning lol

Hi Chris. Looks really nice. Shell looks neat.
Not finished mine yet as some minor bits missing. Hopefully be rolling soon.
Let me know how it goes tonight.

thinking about it if you swapped the steering arms over on the rack you could probably turn the servo over and run the wire out the opposite side to be more tidy...

I notice some guys are putting there speedo on the same side as the motor tabs........ Any reason for this apart from keeping the wires short!

Reg, I think it's the angle of the photo. the ball cup is bent anyway. the left side is the same, but looks straight in the pic

you can also use to 90mm sensor wire that I personally have loads of rather than having to buy a slightly longer one.

I'm going to run mine with the speedo on the left (looking at the front)

Keeps the wires tidy, on the orca speedo, the wire comes out of the speedo and straight across the chassis.
I will check the balance of the car from left to right and add weights as necessary.
