Default difference between mad monkey and x2c chassis?

I noticed there is 2 different chassis for mid motor, with big price difference

mad monkey and X2C

I assume they are same but mad monkey takes stick pack, while the x2c takes saddle pack?

which chassis is better for racing?

they look like they both could take shorty lipo too?

The Mad Monkey (now the Team C Lupuz), and the X2C (now the Team C TC02C) differ, as you say with regards to the MM taking sticks & the x2c saddles.

Comparing the Team C models, the TC02C has the uprated Spur (& i think idler gear), has alloy threaded shocks, adjustable turnbuckles & sealed bearings.

You'll spend more getting a MM (Lupuz) to TC02C spec than the TC02C costs. The MM/Lupuz can be quick for racing but i'd just buy the TC02C to start with.

TC02C here for £89, a mere £34 more than the Lupuz:
