Guys you are more than welcome to come over and race at NNRC, in fact most 1/8th clubs will allow Elec's to race at their club meetings.

Jonny, the Hot Bodies cars are good (Vorza being the better out of the two I'd say). The main problem you will come across with 1/8 electric is keeping the car going for a 20min final. 20mins is the typical length but sometimes can be a good 25-30mins or more at some tracks. You're obviously gonna need good mAh batteries or a super fast pitman + some spare packs.
Other than that it'll be a doddle, stick your car down and race. Tyres last pretty much a full season with astro too so that keeps costs down a bit. As far as I know only Wakefield runs on days apart from Sunday, most/all clubs run on Sunday's as part of their current season and you'll also get the odd bash/practice day. |

Nope unfortunately no oOple for 1/8, that'd be too good! Most tracks have their own individual forums/websites and oOple I'm sure has it's fair share of 1/8 users too, just post up in this section and you should be sorted!

I race both a Vorza & VE8, the Vorza is a very durable car & is competative out of the box. Mine has full the full light weight options as well as a few other upgrades. Although a good car on the track the Vorza can't match the awesome handling & turn-in of the VE8.
Which ever car you get Vorza or VE8 sure you will be well pleased.

There is Pendle just off the M65 at Nelson
www.pdmcc.co.uk Although being a dirt track the amount of racing actually done during the winter is hugely dependant on the weather being kind. |
