Looking really good there Dave, top work on the dirt track, i wish i had some toys like that to play with, they might be a bit dangerous in my hands though

Is it meant for 10th or have you done it with 8th and 10th in mind, looks and good size for both to be honest but pictures can be deceiving at times.

As far as I know it should be usable for both. I know Dave was putting some cut throughs so it can easily be made shorter for 10th and longer for 1/8. Personally I wouldn't want to run a 1/10 round the full size of track as I think you'd lose it, only time will tell if thats the case.

thanks for the compliments, yes it is intended for 10th as well as 8th, I have put a couple of changes in so that the large jump sectin can be missed out with 10th as it is very rough,ok for 8th but mean on 10th.I wanted to sort it out but the tractor mounted rotavator couldn't follow the contors...but i will work on it.
Also i have made an option to make the straight shorter and miss a distant corner,so the 10th track is a bit closer and smaller and car friendly.there is also a new single on bend jump for 10th and a nice little double

I have not used to many track markers to ease maintanace and improve visability, I did do a couple of laps as the light was fading with some dirt tyres on..and it's good
I have only rolled it with the 1ton roller so far, but tmro I will take the twin drum road roller down, about 3t+ tmro night as with the rain we have had it should be nice and damp and pack down realy well, I will also run it over the grass track as well.

So yes we will give it a try sunday, but we will only run a full meeting on it when people have had a chance to get sone dirt tyres on rims,as you need them for sure.

Also anyone wanting to run 8th cars NO spikes...dirt tyres only.

Lookin' good m8, get your car handling good on that and it's time to rock. I'm sure you've only done it so you can watch me struggle round with my mid car and I knew i should of ordered some step pins or losi studs as well as dboots, lol.

lol. I have asked Anglia model centre to find out avalability of losi/proline 10th tyres for the track, if no luck I will order a load from US and sell to who needs them at $ price .

Rolled grass track 1st thing this morning before work, flattened all the small bumps out...smooth

Looks good Dave, reckon after a few trial runs with different tires it would be worthwhile implimenting a proper tire rule on the dirt track.
That way Anglia Models could hopefully carry a small stock, knowing that they will sell them at some point and it keeps things even on the grip side of things.

I should I hope have a few sets of fastrax tyres to try in diffrent compounds, I hope they work as they are under 8quid a set of rears,

Carl, if you brought a hover craft, at least we wouldn't all have to wait on the rostrum as you fuss over your ride hite

Both tracks look good now, will give the grass a cut on saturday...look fit for a regional
