just two days to go be for round 4 of Benfields winter series
Opening / Booking in / Practice / Start times Doors will open at 7.00 am. Booking in Practice will be 7.15-7.45 am followed by drivers' briefing 7.50 We aim to have heats on the line at 8.00 am with the intention of finishing the meeting no later than 4-4.30 pm. TRACK PREPARATION IS ON SATURDAY 4PM –6pm VOLUNTEERS ARE NEEDED TO HELP LAY OUT THE TRACK AND PUT AWAY AFTER MEETING. Currently there are 75 competitors across 10 heats, which is going to be a tight squeeze on the time lines. There are still places available for the junior drivers 2wd + 4wd and 4 places for the senior 4wd. Please find the current booked and confirmed driver listing below if your name is not on the listing and you have booked in or would like to book in please contact me asap. Or if you have booked in and are unable to make it please contact me to allow me to update the entries. Cancelations we respectfully ask you to give at least 48 hours’ notice prior to the event to allow me time offer any vacancies to people who wish to attend. And amend the heat listing for a quicker start to the day. payments can be made on the day. Fee - £8.00 per class. Or £15.00 for both classes per round U16 - £5.00 per class. Hi Paul, managed to convert Archie's car to 2wd, so he can be in the junior junior. If it drives like crap tomorrow i'll sit out 2wd senior and give him my car. Hopefully it will be ok.

I would like to thank you to all who have attended and supported the series
weather it be just one round or all four todate. again today I have received a lot of feed back and positive comments on how well the junior drivers are improving, and enjoying the series. I will scan through the results tomorrow and forward them to Dom to update the series. from a first glance it looks to be very tight in the mid and top third of the table. in both classes. sounds like another great day - feel worse that I didn't make it.
I've been keen as mustard for weeks and had a new centre diff for the XB4 to try, a new 2WD and new motors. All of them sitting idle today! Back is better now though - days rest did it wonders, and it seems it was just a twist. Serves me right for being an idiot. I'll get the results up as soon as I get them. And I'll move heaven & earth to be there for the Feb round. See you all there.

One thing I would like to add is about the driving from a spectating point of view some of the heats I watched it was like dodgems I heard loads of people coming off the stand complaining about it
I can honestly say in the junior races they were all as clean racing as it could be Mabe it was because there were less cars in that heat compared to the others.
