Exclamation RVRCCC - Club AGM

Our Club AGM will be at the Poachers (Bamber Bridge, Preston, Lancashire PR5 6BA). At 7:30 On Tuesday 12th February.

All Members welcome to attend, and dont forget things get changed at the AGM. If you want to affect those changes be there to have your say.

9.Proposals From the Committee .

9.1.Proposed we have No Limit on number of Club Members.

9.2.Proposed we limit Total Number of Buggies on race night to 50 Max.

9.3.Proposed we limit Total Number of GT12 on race night to 20 Max.

9.4.Proposed we limit Total number of Racers to 70.

9.5.Proposed we race 2wd & 4wd Buggies mixed together by Ability.

9.6.Proposed we race GT12 mixed together by Ability.

10.Racing Charges

10.1.Members to pay £5 on the night – No Change.

10.2.Members to pay £4 per night when buying 5 tickets for £20.

10.3.Non Members to pay £6 on night – No change.

10.4.Non members to pay £5 per night when buying 4 tickets for £20.

10.5.Cost of Membership should be £5.

10.6.Proposed all Racers 16 years and under will pay £2 per night when buying 5 Tickets for £10.

11.Any Proposals submitted by members.

Eric please could we have a proposal too limit the number of buggys in each heat too 8 this is for a number of reasons , the fact that the number has creaped back upto 11 in a heat which is jus too much sure we limited it at the last agm cant remember , with 10 cars in a heat the last 2 setting off are often lapped before even getting going due too the short quick laps , therefore think 8 would be a better number and would make the heats safer there wouldnt be as much carnage thanks

If you are coming along to the meeting and you raise this it can be discussed. It does however mean that we would have to restrict the total number of buggies racing to 5*8=40.
As the committee are allready proposing a reduced total of 5*10=50 your proposal would be an amendment to the committee proposal. This means that we would be turning people away nearly every week and other Financial proposals woulld have to be reconsidered.
