Default Hobbywing 2 in 1 Prof Prog Card Problems

Hi wondered if anyone can help?

I have a 2 in 1 Hobbywing professional program card and tried to update the card to the latest firmware version, using the hobbywing V3.1 software downloaded from the Hobbywing website (Hobbywing_USB_Link_V3.1_setup_120612.rar (MS Windows Version). Once upgraded the program unit now no longer talks to esc or computer??

The electronic LCD display does not display a current version, it only displays LCD squares blocked out on the small screen?? Can I reset the program unit and update firmware again?

Is there a fix for this or is it a new card needed?

Thanks for any help, Bren

Check the help page on cpd racing.
You may have wrong software unless you have the v3 Speedo

I did that mistake too and had the same problem. I just reloaded the old software using the old program and i dont use the V3 updated version anymore. I cant use my prof box on its own anymore tho as it wont work but if i plug it into my laptop then it works fine. But i also got one of those LED boxes too which still works, so i use that to change stuff when laptop not around.

Thats weird I am running ver 3.1 software in my lcd box and ver 2.1 esc fine.
Is it possible the have made an upgrade to later boxes (such as mine) or is it luck of the draw?

hi

connect your 2-1 to pc/laptop load latest software program (for v3)

look on menu in drop down window you should find two optons for software you need to load the older one "050412" or something very similiar reflash to your 2-1 box then disconnect and you should be able to use as normal stand alone programmer (

note You are not tring to load esc software here just the software on the lcd 2-1

pm this evening if struggling still ill talk you through it more professionally
