DESC210 Kit Diff Issue
Hi Guy's
My son raced at RHR this weekend and used a brand new DESC210 (kit) in MM4 configuration during the 3 finals. In the last final it threw a drive shaft and got a DNF. After looking a few chaps said is it the kit ball diff? They then said it wasn't the first time they had seen that. Any idea's? The other chassis was in RM3 spec with an RTR Gear Diff and we've raced it for 6 months with no issues. Both cars were set up with the same cambers - toes - ride heights etc The Ball diff does measure 3 mm total width smaller than the gear diff. Cheers Ian |

You can limit the droop, or try the longer ball diff outdrives.

Hi Ian,
I have also seen a recommendation to run TD310122 97mm shafts (which are I think from the front of a DESC410) rather than the 96mm ones from the DESC210 kit |

You should get the updated diff outdrives which are slightly longer to adress this issue:

I had the same problem with mine, if you brought it new contact team durango and they will send you some longer outdrives free of charge as its a known problem.
