Default Xb4 testing

Had it out for the first time on greasy astro and was very impressed! Twiddled and tweaked various things and back to back testing with my Durango suggested I was quicker with the xray. I guess time will tell, but for a stock car out of the box, it's VERY good.

Coventry Astro, a layout that was used at the last MAM, so it is pretty familiar.

My car is decent, on a par with my 410 right out of the box, the lightweight drivetrain really makes the car good over the jumps! I am running on the pace of my Durango with the kit setup on the XB4. The shocks need some work, going to try 6 hole 1.2mm all round rather than the 3 hole 1.3mm.

The only breakages at coventry were a front bulkhead and a wing mount. The bulkhead may have been down to "User Error" rather than the plastic quality.

Do you know where the front bulkhead broke? as mine has a rather large crack on the backside by the top screw that holds the tower to the bulkhead.

Ok, it was me, I was responsible for the 'user error' and mounted the front shock mount behind the gearbox casing, so it broke when I launched it. FAIL

Thought you were happy with your previous car, Feniks ;-)

I found there quality always superb that wat we cant say of most brands out there .
its not the fact that its somthing compleet new . but I beleve that it has all the key ellements to finaly have a car that can suit all drivers . and if it has ball diffs and gear diffs aswell that can only be an advantage . eder way I am happy with my curent car so once this had a compleet year than this car wil be on the list of concideration .

hey rcpower (maarten )
I am and was always happy with my B44.1 and the 2 .
it has problems just like most brands out there . it all depends on the driver to work around them . and that has always workt out fine . dont you think???
I swapt cars just as for the reazon you are saying . No more compromize this car and most Xray cars are build so you can set it up so that U dont need to adapt to the car . so this year will be hammer down and all kamikazi rounds as this car drives like a feather and has the strenth of a tank as far as I have tested it . lol

looking forward to race with/against you buddy! As I will only focus on 4WD (sold all 2WD stuff) this season, my main goal will be to keep your xray behind me

BTW: don't forget to change your sig
