Default oils for a kf. shocks/diff

HI all

just after a bit of advice on oils

I was told (thaks Ben) but i forgot
something like core 450 for the front and 300 for the rear ??

Also i was going to order black 2.6 rear springs as it was running greens when i bought it and they seem a bit soft.

Aaaand..diff oil, what do you use if running the standard diff ?

thanks for any help
Steve.

I used to run 500/400 in my KF2 with black core front spring and blue rear.

The KF from memory has different pistons and i can't remember what i used to run in my KF, sorry.

Hi Steve,

Core RC black springs front and rear, not sure of the poundage but something like 4.0 front and 2.6 rear.

Core RC shock oil 450 front and 400 rear with rear piston holes drilled out to 1.6mm (I have a drill bit that size if you would like to use it).

I used this set up in my KF with saddle packs, worked for me

I used to run emulsion shocks but I'm not sure that's the way forward as they would leak more than when built with the bladder in and set for minimum rebound.

Tom C's initial setup is on petit & schumachers websites and is very good for a stock KF.
