Default SORC Rounds 5 & 6 hosted by Falkirk

Racers,

this weekends SORC round 5 hosted by FRCC & also round 6 on the 21st will be held at a different venue from the usual Bowhouse Community Center in Grangemouth.

The new venue for both rounds is:

Grangemouth Stags RFC
Glensburgh
Glensburgh Road
Grangemouth
Stirlingshire
FK3 8XL

Location:

http://maps.google.com/maps?saddr=56...2401&t=h&hl=en

Here are some google map direction links:

Directions from the kincardine/clackmannanshire bridge (North): http://goo.gl/maps/62pfP

Directions from the Forth Road Bridge (East): http://goo.gl/maps/WpNU7

Directions from Glasgow (West/South): http://goo.gl/maps/kaCcO

There will been some signs roadside when you get closer to the venue to try & prevent people getting lost.
These signs will be SORC with a direction arrow.

IMPORTANT:
  • There is NO power available at the site so you will have to provide your own power by generator or car battery.
  • There are NO pit tables available so bring your own
  • There is NO covered pit area so remember to bring a tent or gazebo to pit under
  • There will be HOT food, drinks etc available from the clubhouse on the day from roughly 9:30am onwards however McDonalds is less than 3mins from the venue & Asda is around 5mins away.
  • There are toilets available in the clubhouse which will be open all day
  • Bin bags will be available from race control as littering will not be tolerated

Thanks
John

Hi Jamie, yes you could turn up and race but you would need to join the BRCA if you haven't already. I'm sure this can be done on the day but don't quote me on that.

This meeting is on grass so you'd probably only need Schumacher yellow mini spikes or Green Ballistic Buggy mini spikes if its wet.

Hi Jamie

It would be great if you could come along as we are always looking to encourage new members to the hobby. If you do wish to race you would need to join the BRCA in advance as this will not be available on the day. You can do this easily on line via the BRCA website. If you decide to join please let me know via sorcinfo@btinternet.com as your membership card may not arrive in time and I would really hate for you to miss out.
Alternatively please just come along and see what it is all about and I am sure we can give you some pointers.

Hope to see you there.
