We all have the 2nd generation proto's coming to us as we speak to thrash around the track, if all is good then they won't be long away.

They make the car just a lot easier to drive to be honest, certainly faster still but more that they are easier. Better when you very first get on the throttle and you can also get the car in a slide and hold it where as with the 3 gear you couldn't really do that.

Matty, i would say were looking at 40 - 50 quid.

Thanks for the info Ellis, i couldn`t imagine this car being easier to drive, its like its on rails as it is

I find the front end is super acurate and precise and the rear end just follows, its ace!!!

Im waiting for the rear camber link hangers, i have the motor brace somewhere.
I think the 4 speed box will be beneficial after reading up on it. I really need some bk2 axles though at the moment.

I built up a set of losi shocks before and i needed 16mm of spacers in each rear shock to stop the shafts falling out

I still have plenty of droop and the same amount of travel as an ae shock so im sure it will be fine.

we just got our rear hangers and gearbox mount, but haven't had time to test em out yet,how the hell can it get any better Matty is just simply loving his new car, if all these upgrades add tenths of a second we will be chancing down 4wd cars, its so easy to drive.

Ive ran the rear camber extenders from the start and car has been planted. I too am waiting for the 4 gear, gearbox to see if traction improves as suggested. Other than that X6 is "the best"

cant say we have had any probs with traction grip or drive, the only difference we run the b4 shock, but cant see them making much a difference, the car is just planted

If you have a pillar drill and a vice or heavy clamp you can re-drill you current axles 2mm further out, do the hole at 90 deg to existing one. It's really worth doing this to get more droop (for outdoors) especially if you're running Losi shocks else half the advantage of running the Losi shocks is lost by having to limit them so much.

I've not ran my X6 in anger for ages now, think interclub is next likely meeting too.
