Default Update

Update as posted by Answer Rc today on facebook

OK, so its SWORKz S12-M Time!
The S12-M is purposefully designed for high grip carpet and astro tracks with its 3 gear laydown gearbox as standard (perfect for most UK racers!)
It also includes a dual slipper, emulsion shocks with TiNi shafts, 4 battery configurations and includes all parts that are often optional. CNC hingepin braces, 7075 alloy chassis and a host of other features.
Due in the UK late November all being well (subject to change) and with an anticiptaed UK retail of £289.99.
Pre order books are now open with your stockist or direct.
The first batch is often limited in number so initially it will be a first come first served basis though with a second batch not far behind the wait wont be long.
More details on our website next week but for now here's a few images to take a look at and get excited with. Later on we will see a more mid motor / rear motor version as well and conversion kits to make the M layout configurable for low grip tracks.
Happy friday folks.

Probably cos it will dig in less than plastic or cf on carpet and astro

I think it was due a lot sooner but due to the recent shift towards yz2 style 2wd for high grip things got delayed while this version was worked on.

Ive noticed some changes already, gearbox has been lowered and due to that motors been moved further fowards, which means it should be a better platform compared to others. If I can get one before the two dayer at maritime then great.

yeh, its pretty similar to the rb6 that kyosho were running at the worlds - Tebo excluded as he had that DB3

to be fair, they are getting it out before any other manufacturer is. Sworkz will be the second behind Yokomo, before Xray and Kyosho, so i dont think they have done too bad time wise

looks like a winner, especially since it is cheaper than the competitors. I am looking at either this or the new PRS1 V3 coming out, which looks very similar.

This car should be even more suited to high grip than the Yz-2 given it's 3gear. When all said and done the yz-2 is just a conventional mid motor really albeit with a lower centre of gravity. The Yz-2 is a good car for sure but not the easiest to drive as it's very twitchy.. I'm hoping this new car from Sworkz will be far safer out the box with the option to make more aggressive instead of the other way round with the Yokomo.

It looks awesome, has a good proven overall design (laydown transmission) price is good and I always like running a buggy a little different from the rest...count me in!
