Yes the conversion will work with a madrat, the new chassis is 6mm longer than a madrat and should calm the steering down, im yet to try my conversion but ill report back once tested!

This conversion aids stability overall. It will handle bumps and fast corners much better that the original chassis. But it will not turn around sharp corners as fast.

The cab forward body will also make the car steer better with quicker response when changing direction.

If you drive a rear mount Ansmann/Team C car, mad rat, X2 you need to get one of the Evo kits.

In summary it's more stable, the cab forward steers better especially at speed and on power.

Key points from my testing.
Battery position - middle. So 5mm spacer at the front and the rear. In fact a 3mm at rear and 7mm at front would be perfect. I've only tested 0 or 5mm.

Body, the std rat/X2 body fits and worked well when the track became dusty and traction was reduced, it just slowed the overall response of the car. The cab forward (Evo body) is better in all other conditions.

The chassis is also 7mm narrower than the standard one and 6mm longer (but we knew that!!)
