Spyder gear diff
Has anyone tried the gear diff in the Serpent Spyder?
What's it feel like compared to the ball diff? Any advantages? |

I would be also interested in some "test-results". My problem with the ball-diff is, that it's performance variates to much. I have to rebuild it after 2-3 days on the track so it performs acceptable. And even than, it feels totally different after some runs...
After modifying the dampers to make them dense, the ball-differential ist the most inconstant part in the car. |

I drove 4 batteries with the gear diff. Never drove with ball diff.
It worked great with no leakage. I used 7000 oil on high grip astro. Wath did you do change on the shocks? |

I'm using Much-More Rings and a second spacer. They are made out of plastic and since I'm using them, the shocks run fine and are loosing nearly no oil.

I got a gear differential today and was driving it the whole sunday (club race in Austria). If you ask me, it is a big advantage on the ball diff, because it stays constant the hole day. I also like the different feeling in high speed corners (seems to be more stable/locked)
