Default Good news from the BBC for F1 fans

Brundle replaces Legard and Coulthard to assist with commentary! Excellent...

I kinda got to like Jonathon Legard, but I suppose I'll get used to the change.

Is this going HD this year? Can't believe it's the pinnacle of motorsport yet they show it in SD and songs of praise in HD

And they use auto-tune on The X-Factor, when they don't use it in Song of Praise.

Who,s doing the grid walk. Imo it will need to be an ex-driver for the other drivers to recognise and have good questions.

Think you mean Anthony Davidson?

I'm so pleased though, Legard was a complete TOOOOL - He was over-excited about all the wrong moments and it always felt like Brundle was getting pee'd off with him and cringing at the things he said along with everyone else watching.

I reckon it should be Ben Collins ex Stig to do the grid walk, but 23 laps into the race, not at the start.

It was apparantly Brundle that instigated Legard getting the push and Coulthard coming in in his place. I agree with Legard going, but dont agree with Coulthard being a commentator. He's was good at being the pundit next to Humphries but cant see it working in the commentary booth

I think he'll be fine, Martin will be doing the main commentary and Coulthard mainly just giving his opinion on stuff i guess? Not like he'll be having to pretend to get all excited and OTT about stuff, i hope not anyway hehe.

Thinking back to when Brundle first started he was fairly quiet most of the time and just chipped in with the facts, or the way he see's it as a Driver so hopefully that's the role DC will play??

I think it will work well anyway, great to have 2 drivers that actually know what they're talking about anyway
