Got my application in the other day and put down the full name of the car (put it down as an 18th when it's now classified as a 16th). Anyway, i put the car down as "LRP Shark ST (RMT?)". Now that's what the full title of the car is, and Cosie asked me "What's the RMT?", now I think we can all guess that the MT stands for Monster Truck, which would make sense, but for the life of me, I couldn't figure out what the R stood for till I saw the box that came with the car, and it makes so much sense now, so, the full title of my car and a lot of other peoples cars is

LRP Shark ST RMT - Race Monster Truck.

I just can't remember what the ST stands for now, not sure I ever knew.

And by the way, due to a discussion over on t'micro forum...

Quote:
Rule 2.1.2, specifically the rule stating the minimum overall width of a 1/16th scale vehicle has now been changed to the following with immediate effect:

Overall width

Maximum: 209.0mm.

Minimum: N/A

---

All other rules within rule 2.1.2 and the UKMicroX 2010 rules remain the same.

Thanks!!

Entries are still rolling in, had one of the Team oOple entries today

Anyone fancy racing 1/18th scale at the event? After the class changes at the EGM it will be nice to see a heat or two of 1/18th scalers!

Get those RC18T/B's, M18T's, Mini-T's and ZT2's out to play!

FYI, CML Distribution have taken delivery of the new "Team" RC18B2/T2 kits and the RRP is only £110(ish)

Entries opened on Monday afternoon and in the 4 days since then we have had 52 entry applications

Furthest applicant was John Price, until Eddie from Spain sent his entry in!!

Superstar list is filling up nicely, with Jonesy topping that list cos hes just had a baby (well..Mrs.Jonesy has lol) and the 10 Team X-FactoryUK/EXOTEK drivers propping him up there

More updates as and when

Any lipo you like as long as it has a nominal voltage of 7.4v or less

Bear in mind though:
Quote:
1.4.2. LiPo/LiFe batteries may be charged to a maximum voltage per cell of 4.20v for LiPo, and 3.70v for LiFe. Overcharging is a serious hazard and will not be tolerated.
and

Quote:
1.5. Lithium cells must have a voltage cut-off device set to 6v. This device can be integrated into the ESC or fitted as an external component.
