Default Retro Racing at EPR

Something we at EPR have been considering for some time now is now a reality. What I hear you ask? Retro racing is now at EPR! So what's it all about? There are so many manufacturers rereleasing old school models to help us reminisce about how it was back in the day, we all remember skimming our motors, and nursing our batteries to try to last a 5 minute race! So it's time to dust off those retro, re re or shelf queen buggies and bring them down to EPR for the rest of the 2014 Summer series. We will run them in an open class so feel free to run any electronics including brushless, Li-po etc that said this class will be about having fun and enjoyment of seeing some classic /re re cars back where they belong. On the track! This is a perfect low pressure and low cost (hopefully) second class to run on race day along side the higher pressured 2 or 4WD classes. Please let us know who would be interested in getting involved and what cars you've got that would fit in this "new" old class. If this is well supported it will become a regular class within any meetings we run. Fees to race in a classic class is as follows:- if you are running in either 2 or 4WD as a primary class the fees for entering the Classic class as a second class will be £5. If however you only want to run a classic for the day, you will be charged the same normal fees as 2 or 4WD. We can only run the classic class if we have the numbers, so it's important to let us know you what this Retro class to run. If you have any questions please feel free to comment here or on our Facebook page. So get involved and join the fun!
