Default Stoke

Big thankyou to Tom Yardy, Geoff Moss, Stuart Whyman and the guys for the track today and scruitneering crew - found it very difficult but there was reasons:

a) I cant jump and need to sort this out
b) its a nitro track - bumps were more severe for us
c) think if you master this track you will reep the rewards on others

Would love to do it again

And of course very well done to the oswestry superstar - MIKE ELLIOT - first regional A only national left now

Well done fella

To be honest the bumps were almost un-noticable, the only tricky section were the moguls to the left, which caught most out throughout the day.

Other than that a great days racing and looking forward to going back next year.

Just to echo the previous posts really,

Thanks to the club and all involved in running the day, very slick as usual by the mid west mob, oh and a damn decent bacon barm too which never goes amiss.

Thanks to all the marshalls whom I kept busy most of the day especially Mr Yardy after those big doubles. A thoroughly challenging and technical track with every type of jump.

What bumps!!! tallywain was bumpier.

Thanks to Geoff Moss, Tom Yardy For arranging for it to be possible to run a meeting at the SNRC track. Thanks to the guy who run SNRC doen an awsome job on the track and the venue in general and thanks to stuart for time keeping and thanks to the scruiteneering team.

As for my racing had my best result ever. Round one had a poor run (kept crashing) But still got 16th in round. Round 2 was awsome car wouldnt crash i got a 11th in round. Round 3 i did two laps and broke both my front CVD's so went about emergancy repairs. Which involved re drilling them. Thanks to Rob Harris and Matt Simpson for lending me the drills would of been out without them cheers again. So repaired them in the nic of time. Round 4 had a unlucky round was on for my fastest time of the day got though for my 9th lap just before the 5 minutes and on the last lap my turnbuckle came out putting me out Qualified B5 then after about 6 laps my car just died i think it thermalled but im not sure need to do soem testing on that.

SO lets go back next year.

Thanks guys for a brilliant regional.

Just want to Echo most of the above, Fantastic track and great days racing toay, really enjoyed the challenge and hope we get another bash at it in 2010 series..

As per previous post I found the moguls section and the the corner table the tough parts but completely enjoyed trying to get round without touching the floor

Thanks to SNRC for the use ofthe facility and thanks to Geoff, Tom, Stu etc for putting on the event..

Enjoyable day, result was not too good (Q 10th in C), unsure of finishing position as I hit poor Morgan who was marshaling another car and broke it on his arm. Thanks to Ken for fixing it though. Sorry Morgan.

Well done Miguel, Jonesy must be so very proud of his little Mikey

Default Stoke

Buggy Man,

Must give it to you, The Stoke track was really good. Every turn was a different challenge and we only used 50% of the track. A few positive points:

1. If you need to learn how to jump with a RC Car just go to go to Stoke track.
2. The best thing about the track was the rate it dried. 10 mins!!!!
3. The food wagon was the best at any track ever!!!!

A few negatives:

1. You need proper toilets.
2. To stop sleeping through my alarm clock

Tony

PS – Well done Mike (2 seconds), Well done Boothmaster and Tom Yardlop

Well I had my best result ever....... maybe a bit lucky that Bish broke (twice!) in the last leg of the final after showing me some 'over' taking in the second leg.

I really enjoyed the track, technically very challenging in places.

Hope we go back next year for at least one round.
