Default Alloy RC chassis welding in North East

Hi,
I have a b4 vega alloy chassis which I'd like to strengthen on the known weak spot near the front. Having a problem finding someone who can do this.
Is anyone on here able to do such a thing and if so how much am I looking at?
I've already emailed team xtreme to see what they advise and am waiting for a reply.
I need someone who can weld alloy and ideally is involved in rc, maybe done something similar to this already, to understand what's involved to greatly lessen the chance of a botch up!
Posting in the North East thread at this stage as that's where I'm based (Tyne and wear) and likely to get the most views from north east members.
Thanks

Possibly something I could do for you. I'm guessing you need a small run on the fold line of the kick up?

The only thing I would worry about is if they was any movement with the welding to the kick up? I'm not sure how T X go about this ?

Also I am in the north east but in the Stockton area so I'm not that close to you ...

Andyp -
Hi, yes that's exactly what it needs. A little line where the kick up folds up. Have you done this sort of thing before? Do you mean it might lose its shape and angle when it gets welded?
Stockton is a small trip away but it's do-able if I don't strike lucky closer.
I'm North Tyneside..

Hi roboliver-
Thanks for the reply. Looks a good source on that side. Pity I don't know what I'm doing as I'd give it a go myself. I know my limitations and its way out of my league to DIY this. I'd end up destroying the chassis and injuring myself without a doubt!

More suggestions still welcome thanks..
