Default Transponder help

Hello guys I'm pretty new to this and I'm looking at buying a transponder for racing, I will mostly be racing at clubs around the north east and maybe once my driving improves some BRCA events, Is there a transponder thats compatiable with all clubs software or is my laps different to thr mrt? There a little confusing.

There are two different timing systems that the local clubs in the NE use, RC3 and RC4, you have 2 options available for a transponder

You could use a Mylaps harry around £87 or a MRT PTX 20ns around £55

If you contact MRT they will sell you a reconditioned unit ( new case and wire ) for around £37 posted

Both are compatible with NE clubs and work perfectly

Cheers DKfream, I'll try and contact MRT for a reconditioned one then is there e-mail address mail@team-mrt.com? , so both of them transponers will work with either the rc3 or rc4 that clubs run? I just don't want to buying the wrong one that wont work there quiet expensive really.
