Help setting up Futaba 3GR with speed passion reventon pro

Im hoping someone can help me solve this one.
Just bought a second hand Futaba 3GR 2.4Ghz off here and trying to get the throttle working properly, I've set the throttle to REV on the transmitter.

Problem I have is after setting the 'neutral,full,brake' positions on my Reventon pro ESC the throttle will work progressively as expected for the first time you move the stick then go back to neutral. However, the next time and from then on, as soon as I move the throttle a fraction it gives approx 1/2 throttle instantly with it flat out way before the stick has moved its full travel on the transmitter.
I have reset the 3GR's model memories to make sure I'm not picking up any previous owners settings.

I was previously using my Spectrum DX6i which worked fine with the Reventon ESC but wanted a 2 channel specific set.

All sorted now. Unfortunately it appears the previous owner had been playing with the neutral point on the throttle potentiometer inside the transmitter and messed up the zero point. Easy fix by plugging a servo in and resetting
with a screwdriver.
