I'd say the Vampire SR1+ speedo, super smooth, no faffing about with boost & turbo settings as it does it for you & great after sales back up.

No experience of any of those motors I'm afraid.

The G force are amazing value for money! Not sure wether there is a difference between the sky rc or G force speedos, motors are identical bar colour aswell
Thunder power motors also very good, no experience of Dynamite (the name puts me off!!!)
You won't go wrong with Hobbywing speedo but expensive now
Thought about ORCA the VXX is £99 at MB models now and better spec to most

Value for money Id go for the sky rc toro 120amp. £58 on ebay, I have one and very impressed with it. Have the 150 amp in my mbx7 and is also very good. Basically the same as the hobbyking counterparts but the sky rc you can get a Bluetooth dongle to connect to your phone and change settings etc. I use hobbyking motors but will change my 1/10 to speed passion soon as they're Brca legal and a reasonable price. As are the sky rc motors.

I have been running a hobbywing ezrun combo in my 22 2.0 and am very happy with the performance although the esc is a tad large and will not fit under the shell with the fan, fortunately this hasnt proved to be an issue and have just got a speed passion reventon r combo set which once I get my head round the programming seems to be a solidly made piece of kit which fits in my 22-4 with room to spare. 13t hobbywing motor and 7.5t speed passion. I went for the combo versions as although I have plenty of experience with rc I have been out of the scene for over a decade and am getting used to this brushless malarkey with all the extra cables and programming etc.

HI thank you for your replys. I have decided to go for a better quality motor could someone advice me on which is the better motor of the ones below. also I have only started out racing and was wondering which motor turn would be the best. If I went for a 7.5 or 8.5 would it be too quick or if I went for a 10.5 could I tune it to go as fast as a 7.5 in the future thank you

Trinity D4 10.5 Turn Brushless Motor
Reedy Sonic 540 Mach 2
Hobbywing XERUN - 1/10 Sensored BL Motor V10
Speed Passion Comp V4.0 Motor

I've just bought a couple of v3 speed passion and really impressed, my friend runs them as well and they're good motors. I presume the v4 would be a bit better as well. I'd go for a 7.5 or 8.5 and if you want less speed then turn the end point down on your controller.

I'm running a 7T Reedy Sonic Mach 2 in my B5M, really good motor, although I think part of that is running a decent ESC. (Orion R10.1)

I'm in the process of Kitting out my new Bmax4 with Electrics and I am going for a Reedy again motor wise, 5T this time. Speedo I'm going for LRP works Flow Team, heard good things about them and a fair bit cheaper than buying another Orion

The LRP Flow Works is a good speedo both me and my son use them, the only frustrating thing about them is the lack of an external programming box or PC software to make adjustments the only option is to sit and count the flashing lights.

Yeah I went for the speed passion as its brca legal and has good performance. Very smooth as well. So bang for buck very good so far. Should be fine with compatibility. I'm running mine with a hobbywing 2.1 clone by hobbyking.

Yeah I did think this. However compared to the price of a new Orion I'm hoping I can see past the lack of external interface. Time will tell..
