Default Compatibility between Sanwa 221DS and Ansmann R3.1

Hi, as per thread title, does anyone know if the Sanwa TM-221DS 2.4GHz module (reviewed here) is compatible with the Ansmann R3.1 (spec) receiver?

I have an Airtronics M11 and an Ansmann R3.1 and now have the opportunity of getting a 221DS module. Will these two talk happily to one another, or will I need a Sanwa receiver?

The Ansmann R3.1 is basically a re-badged Sanwa RX-371, I have 2 R3.1s which work quite happily with my MT-4 in the FH2 setting (although Sanwa say it uses DSSS1):

Where it gets confusing is on the TM-221DS webpage they say it's compatible with the RX-371:

But on the receiver compatibility table they say it doesn't work in combo with the M11 and RX-371:

I personally would give it a try, probably the worst that can happen is they just won't recognise each other

That's interesting, because this guy in his for sale thread last year said that the Ansmann R3.1 is a "re-branded Sanwa 411DS" and he seems to have had no problems working between them and his 221DS.

Confused. Guess I'm going to have to find out for myself!

IT WORKS!

Just popped the Sanwa TM-221DS 2.4GHz module into my Airtronics M11 and after a few false starts trying to get it to bind, it now communicates perfectly with my Ansmann 3.1R receiver. Much better than using the Spektrum SM1000 module and SR3001 Pro combo I tried before.
