Default Odd Speedo Glitch Issue?

Hi All,

Hoping people can advise?

I had my first race meeting since Lockdown last Sunday.

Car was fine except for one corner..

If I freewheeled around it, the speedo would cut out and take a couple of seconds to reset?
If i kept the power on around the corner it was fine, no issue?!

Again, if the car rolled anywhere out on track and had to be marshalled the speedo would cut out and take a second or 2 to switch back on.

I know that the car was still ‘live’ as the steering worked.

No loose or damaged wiring that I can see.

Really annoying (and lap time damaging) to be honest.

Speedo is Maclan, motor is Surpass, radio is Futaba 4grs in a Schumacher L1.

Anyone have any ideas please?

Cheers for reading.

When yours esc cuts out does it need manually switching off and on or does it just come back to life itself? My mate is having an issue with a Maclan where if the car takes a hard landling oor knock the esc cuts out and he is having to switch it off and on

You might want to get in touch with 6K racing and possibly get them to take a look at the ESC, they are the Maclan distributors now and are the ones to speak to regarding repairs.

Thanks for the reply.

When it cuts out any movement on the throttle stick (normally braking) will bring it back to life after a second or 2.
