That seems to be a very wierd way of organising final positions! Are there any benefits or is it just another touring car obsession (like tyre warmers, additives, one set of tyres per run, the list goes on and on and on )a bit like touring car races...

All very true, Jimmy. I've always liked multi-leg finals. When I was at Worksop for the first meeting we ran to normal rules (4 round qual and 1 leg finals)

Not sure where you got the idea of that scoring system from? I assumed it would be scored the same as most of the TC races. You get points for the finals, points are added together. Qualifying is only used when deciding ties.
Have you got the overall results for 2wd A final, it had dissapeared by the time i went to look at it.

back in 2003 or 2004 they ran 3 leg finals for EVERYONE in the north east regionals! haha.. I remember qualifying higher than ever before (c final 1st) and I was so proud - but I was racing with guys I never really raced alongside before and I just got totally hammered in every respect - 3 times!!!
First leg I didn't get to the rostrum 'in time' and even tho I was pole man, I had to stand behind someone - I am not joking. Next one I got there so early that I forgot my transponder! And the final one I just got bullied off the track I think. That was the same weekend that vicky put a transponder in my 4wd - saw the 'pretty' clips holding the cells in and thought they were there for fun, so removed them to secure the shell (velcroed anyway) ! so my cells were all over the car by the time I finished. Ah, the memories.. anyway yeah, worksop was pretty cool - hard to get used to, but pretty cool.
