Phil - you're not going to get a considered answer from anyone. Bigred is sponsored to run the losi so he's not going to tell you anything other than losi (that does not mean that he's wrong, though...) I run a B4 but have never run anything else 2WD, so I'm no help either!
My advise is to get the car that you like the look of, as any modern car is capable these days, it's all down to personal choice.

Phil, I'm pretty new too, but I think you're asking the 64 mill question.

Basically from my experience so far, get a B4 or the Losi xxx and you cant fall off! Both are quality and will improve with you for a long time. There are others, but spares and hop ups etc seem way easier to get hold of for these 2.

Enjoy.

i used to have a B4, but now i have my X6

the X6 is a fantastic car, very well designed, and great to drive and work on. for me it was a big improvement on the B4.

the XXX-CR is also a good car, but prefer my X6

all down to personal preferense really!

[i cant spell]

I was looking at the X6 but they seem a bit more fragile and spares are alot but they do seem good indoors.

it's a good shout to get the same car as the people you are best friends with at racing, this way you can rob spares and setup ideas off them.

...just like i do

I think Col is correct in saying that people will probably recommend the car that they drive themselves. I'm running Vermins ex B4 which i can honestly say has had some serious abuse and it's still going strong. It's easy to work on, set up and drive. So thats my choice.

i would say the x6. if you ask people who own x6's which is better between the xfactory x6 and the b4. the x6 will come out on top. footey really is the guy to ask, as i think hes had every car out there available to buy

[sorry shane]

i would say x6's are reasonably strong except the front nose peices. but these are designed not to be as strong to save the chassis and other parts in bigger impacts. [i think]. it is probably easier to work on than other cars aswell.

ive also driven a 'CR' and they are also good cars but according to my mate, they are a pig to setup if you change tracks. and also he told me they are weak. the x6 is practically the same setup for alot of tracks, just maybe change the springs or oils and then its great for another aswell.

hope this helps.

I love the look of the RB5 (whoe doesn't) but as the quote says..parts will be cheeper... i.e. when you can get them. If you're new to this you will break things so go for something easy to work on, easy to get parts for and not too quirky. XXX-CR or B4 then!
