Hi. Do you get many from Scarborough at your events? I'm quite interested in starting but quite new to it all. Reading between the lines I'd be best of with a 540 motor and 2wd. Can you recommend any cars as I currently don't own one. Any help appreciated.
Thanks |

Hi I think there are a few who travel from Scarbrough way to the club.
Recently the club has allowed 17.5 brushless in 540 class to give more future proofing. Regarding cars, come over one Sat and chat to everyone as we all have different opinions on cars. Hope this helps. Brett P.s. join the facebook group for more banter!

I can't make this weekend I'll see how I'm fixed for the following. Fortunately or unfortunately depending how you look at it I'm a Facebook free zone so it's just here for now. But thank you.

Hi Tommy, there will be another welcome / open day on 26th Nov where we should have some club cars to test with. its aimed for beginner / youngsters and gives a chance to drive round without any competition so no pressure.
also we have a shop (Alex at Moss Models) who is there most weeks can help with cars/spares/electrics etc - might have some second hand cars ready to use. calendar is on the club website - http://www.yorcc.org.uk/ run pretty much every saturday night so pop along and have a look one night. |
