Default Micro rules?

hi all, are there any rules anywhere. ie: motor limit, types of lipo allowed etc..

ive looked on the brca site and that helps you if your running a national meeting but not general car rules and allowances..

thanks

Hi
There are no motor limits apart from dimensions 28mm max diameter.
This also includes Lipos (2S only allowed).
Cars and wheels are also limited by dimensions. Touring wheels and tyres are allowed and generally Schumacher pins and rally blocks in yellow and white compounds work best and last a long time.

Best of getting a Carisma GTB or LC Racinb EMB-1 as these are most popular and handle well.

Hope this helps.
Mark

Dave, good call if you're thinking of having a Micro Class!

The chaps at Dudley are very experienced with Micro's so perhaps they could help.

the only construction rules out there are in the micro national rule book which is available at the following link

https://www.brca.org/documents/173-micro-handbook.html

There is no requirement for a hard case lipo, as when the rules were made, they were hard to come by. having said that, the popular softcase battery that we all use is now hard to get, so a lot of guys are now going for the hard case battery as it sits in the car a lot neater.

Yes mostly softcase Lipos as they are cheaper and easier to get hold of.
Vampire/intellect make a 1600 hard case however.
