Default Aerials

Hi with aerial wires being short these days what do people do ? Still use as small tube that comes out of the body ?

That's what I do, my aerial tube is about a inch outside the body and only just sits above the cab, I think it looks way cooler than the foot long aerials used to aswell

I read somewhere that only the last 30mm of a 2.4Ghz aerial needs to be up away from other electrics. on Spektrum receivers the aerials are not long enough to come up through a TC body so I use 50mm tube to lift the wire away from the electrics but still under the body

On the latest generation Futaba FHSS recievers there actually is no external aerial. Which seems odd to me!
