Is there going to be anyone selling spares at either of the rounds? And are we going to witness the legendary iconicrc wheelie truck races at these meetings?

Mike, We haven't lined up a pit shop for this inaugural year. We'll see how we go and look to include one for next year. I'd recommend taking a few tyre options. We will post up tyre advice from each club in due course when they've done some testing for the event.

We thought about a wheelie race but wanted to keep focus for the day on the main racing so ruled it out. Again, we'll assess this year's event and see about a fun/support race for next year if we think it'll fit. We do have the Italian Job Coach and the Mini Coopers for a lunchtime display though.

I've got my BRCA membership through, so I'm about ready to book in.
How do I go about selecting my grade, do I just make an estimate?

I had the same issue mate, I made a guess at it. Raced 1/12 oval forever, but this will be one of my first circuit ventures so had no idea either.

The track at West London will be open this Sunday if you fancy a play. Dress warmly though.
As to grades, I will have a look at what times people are doing on the Saturday and make any adjustments that I feel are necessary. At the moment it is only the stock class that has more than one heat but that will no doubt change.

On body shells, they don't need to be a Tamiya body but still need to be a scale/recognizable representation of a real car. For example HPI make some nice bodys for the M chassis cars.
I hope the 540 touring class & the M-chassis classes get a good turnout.

It might demonstrate that you don't need a million scale HP to have fun!

Some of the greatest races I ever took part in was using a humble M-chassis Mini cooper with a silver can.

The only rule change I'd propose is a very cheap, durable control tyre

Hi Mike, is the Saturday practice mandatory if that's the case?

How are entries looking for these events?

I've got myself a mint TA04 and I'm trying to decide whether to run it in the stock or GT classes.

I've got all the hop-ups to get it up to GT spec.... but if there are more entries in stock I'll convert it back
