Default 8 mm + chassis use both 210 size bodies

If you changed to the +8 mm chassis you may think that you need to buy a new body to suit ,but you don't have to with this mod! All you need is a wing that you don't use anymore that's cracked or whatever.make sure it has a lip on the back. Cut down the wing about 30 mm .you will end up with a L shape piece. Now looking at the the area where the wing brackets go remove the screws and cut the piece of lexan to fit over the gearbox and against where the screws go ,then with a reamer or similar mark where the screws go ream it out and on the long part of lexan apply HD Velcro and the other piece of Velcro to the under part of the back of the body and that's it .if you are under 18 make sure you get adult supervision using any sharp craft knives or reamers, hope this helps you,let me know how you get on

The v2 kit has different shaped side pods, this mod could be useful for v1 kits with an aftermarket +8 chassis though. But not all the aftermarket +8 chassis types were extended at the rear.

It only works with that chassis, most stretch the nose, and the new chassis is a different contour

hi just to let you know i use the original 210 shell the v2 and a cougar sv shell made by penguin, i use the aluminium 8 mm + and my brother uses the 8mm dimec and they all work fine.remember this mod is to be able to use your old original 210 and forward cabshells. as regards the 11mm+i dont know as i haver seen one. but if the body fits at the front and the back is a bit short just add a long piece of velcro to the back of the bodyhere is a pic of the cougar shell on the 210 chassis, dont know if the shell is still available or not but it gives you the idea.
