Default WBMCC Indoor Offroad Winter Series

Once again West Bridgford MCC in Nottingham will be running an indoor offroad championship. It will be held across 6 rounds with best 4 to count.

We will be running on an extended track which will nearly fill the hall to give us the largest indoor track in the country!

This years dates for the Offroad series are;

October 17

November 21

December 12

January 16

February 13

March 13

These are now on SUNDAYS, not Saturday like previous years.

Classes being run are 2wd and 4wd 1/10th buggies and 1/10th Short Course trucks (will be split to 2 and 4wd if enough entries)

Race fees will be £10 for all drivers with £5 refund for any driver who packs away on Sunday (race director's discretion will be applied)

Control tyres are minipins on the rears of the buggies and open tyres for the trucks (as long as they are 1/10th scale SC tyres, 3.0"x2.2")

Pre-booking can be done here http://www.rcracecontrol.com/?action=showseries&id=35

This will be held at the West Bridgford School (our usual indoor venue)

Loughborough Road
West Bridgford
Nottingham
NG2 7FA

Approx 15mins from J24 M1, so easy to get to!

Yes it is when we go back indoors (still running outside in Bingham at the moment) I think we will be pitting in the small hall next door so we can extend the track to make even bigger!!

YIPEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE can't wait to get back indoors for the Champs and on a bigger track. I think we'll be needing some more Reebok gym steps to extend the table top .

We are pleased to announce that the series will be sponsored this year by Schumacher.

With this sponsorship means we have had a slight rule change from last year for the 2wd and 4wd buggies whereas we now have a control tyre of Schumacher yellow minipins, but seeing as 99.9% of people ran on them last year then this shouldn't really change things.

Just a quick note we will have the new carpet for this weekend so we will be very strict on the covering of shock towers, and that screws are all tight in your cars.

Just make sure that all screws are flush with the nuts on shock towers and if you have some old lexan lieing around then dig it out and mount it on top of your shock tower.

On a plus point though our track has just grown from 480 Sq meters to 520 sq meters. Loads of space for loads of obstacles and a nice long straight.

Round three this weekend. Lets hope the numbers are still as good as the first two rounds.

Also if you are free on staurday afternoon we could do with as many people as possible to help set the track out. The more we can get done staurday afternoon the quicker we can get up and running on sunday. Set-up will start around 2pm.
